Process in progress
I’m obsessed with finishing this video. I woke up Friday at like 10:00am, and I didn’t stop working on it till around Sunday at 1:00am. The trick to staying up working on something like this is to not eat much. Not eating much means you don’t really want to move much, and if you don’t move much, you don’t get tired, and then you don’t have to sleep. I’m sort of in a music video suspended animation – like what they’re going to do on long space missions… except that I was awake animating stuff in After Effects.
Then today after a refreshing 11 hours of sleep I woke up really excited to not sit and eat. I stood and consumed like almost a pound of cheery vanilla granola. That’s probably several thousand calories at once, and then ran almost 3 miles around the Mission district. Then after a shower I crashed out again. Now I’m awake and I’m back at it. I’m going to be cutting up small segments of video of glitter and friends smashing stuff.
Although these songs and videos are a lot of fun to make, when I’m done with this, I have to get out of my apartment and away from my computer for a while. I don’t know where to go or what to do. I don’t think the usual hang outs, and parks will cut it. I’m open to suggestions.
